Eye surgery

This condition is most common to elderly people or because of scarring. The lower eyelid folds inward. It is very uncomfortable, as the eyelashes constantly rub against the cornea and irritate it. Such a condition may cause secondary inflammation and deep cornea ulceration as a consequence. The surgery is done under local anaesthesia and brings back the proper eyelid condition by cutting off a piece of skin on it. Some stitches are used and removed after the wound is healed.
